Battlefield 2042 Anticheat, Fair Play and Reporting
The developers of Battlefield have officially announced that the Battlefield 2042 will feature the prominent and often thought of as best Anticheat
third party software called Easy Anticheat. This is big news because as we know the cheating climate has risen in temprature lately and it has
become painfully apparent that Triple A producers do not take cheating seriously enough sometimes relying on flimsy hard baked systems to identify
cheaters “COUGH CALL OF DUTY COUGH”.
Battlefield also released a nifty community charter drawing a line on what is considered fair play – I like this and in another frame of mind I
worry about this because it is something they need to be really intentional about but I worry its such a big animal to eat that they’re going to
have to take so many little bites. But I like what they’re after – a clean community no Swastikas, no weiners everywhere… no doxxing no swatting
so on and so forth.
Lastly they also demonstrated what a reporting system will look like for cheaters and community guideline violators – I love this it looks comprehe
-nsive. I’m being so positive about battlefield it almost feels unnatural not to have more criticism.
